About Workshop

We had our first Sushi Workshop on Sunday, January 31st 2016. Since then we have hosted many more.

During the workshop we like to cover a lot of material, starting with a brief explanation on cooking the rice, and cutting the fish, we then on to making the actual sushi. We make three types; Maki mono, Nigiri, and my own favourite, Temaki!

The workshop is taught by myself, and I'm assisted by one other professional sushi chef, as well as several other assistants to make sure event goes smoothly.

We encourage our guests to be creative with their sushi. Using ingredients like Japanese plum puree, chives, okra, tobiko and more to decorate their pieces, the room is filled with lots of mini masterpieces.

After the event, everybody can sit down to enjoy their sushi, along with a complimentary beverage from Gesso. Or if prefered the sushi can be boxed up and take home. With 20 pieces of sushi, it was hard to finish it all!
